Dr. Peter Moley

Dr. Peter Moley serves as Assistant Attending Physiatrist for the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. His responsibilities there include aiding patients in recovery using non-operative procedures addressing issues with the hip, lumbar, and spine. He utilizes a broad range of advanced techniques made possible by the Hospital for Special Surgery to accomplish his goals, including injections led by ultrasound and fluoroscopy as well as physical therapy training regimens designed specifically for the individual patient in need. Furthermore, Dr. Peter Moley serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Peter Moley began laying the foundations for his career at Georgetown University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then completed graduate work in physiology before attaining a Doctor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical School. Following this, Dr. Peter Moley completed an internship with the UC Davis Medical School in Sacramento before completing residency work in physiatry with the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey.

An active contributor to his field, Dr. Peter Moley has written work published in a wide range of peer-reviewed journals including the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine, and Current Reviews in Musculoskeletal Medicine. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for publications such as the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Current Orthopaedics and Related Research.
